This programme partners with 3 local churches in Thika the Anglican Church of Kenya (Crater Parish), Cornerstone Church and Cornerstone Lord’s Sanctuary Church. The Crater Parish of Thikas Anglican Church has around 800 members, a number of which are local volunteers. Cornerstone Church has around 60 members and Cornerstone Lords Sanctuary Church has a membership of around 250.
This programme gives volunteers the opportunity to carry out ministry in association with the pastors and local volunteers from these churches. Your duties will vary but may include:
- ministry in slums, the churches, schools, and villages;
- conducting Bible studies and Bible clubs;
- taking part in music ministry;
- delivering messages to church congregations; and
- mentoring church workers.
We support individuals by; providing placements, assisting with information and travel or other insurance products, hosting pre-departure preparation, supporting individuals and families whilst overseas with us and on their return.
