The home is located at Mangu road Karibaribi in Thika. The home was started in the year 2006 by the director madam Jane Mbuyu. The home is for infant babies rescued from hospitals where they were abandoned by their parents and also taboo children abandoned e.g twins, disabled, sired from close relatives in which some culture they consider outcast or cursed.
Activities of volunteers in the Centre will include:
- Cooking
- Cleaning
- Farming in a kitchen garden
- Playing activities with the children
- Preparing on going school children
- Fellowship activities
- Guiding children on reading and school home
We support individuals by; providing placements, assisting with information and travel or other insurance products, hosting pre-departure preparation, supporting individuals and families whilst overseas with us and on their return.
